Dekel Keinan

[edit]

Hi and welcome to wikipedia. I realise that you think you are helping by updating the Dekel Keinan article. However, until BFC officially announce him as a Blackpool player, then the article needs to remain as it is. There is still nothing on the BFC website about Keinan signing. He is supposedly away with Israel at the moment and meant to be back in Blackpool on Thursday when presumably he will be announced. But please don't change it until an announcement is made as articles need to be sourced. Thanks and have fun.--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 20:41, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi tangerines i think you will find that Sky sports news has under the transfers thing under blackpool players in, it clearly states that D Keinan has signed for us on a free.
I know that, I have seen it. However, wikipedia works on verifiability, and until Blackpool F.C. announce him as having signed then the article needs to remain the same. I would ask you again to wait until BFC announce him as having signed.--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 21:11, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok as you wish tangerines.
It is just how wikipedia works, and not how I wish! :) I would suggest having a look round wikipedia and have a look at all the BFC articles too. Have fun on here and if you need any help let me know.--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 21:26, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Vital Football has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://associationfootball.wikia.com/wiki/Vital_Football. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:31, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't see where I accused you of vandalism - I may have charged an unregistered user with this, but your edit was reverted by User:Struway2. Fans forums are not accepted as sources on Wikipedia no matter how well respected the poster may be. When there is an official announcement of a change of payer's club only then can it be included in the player's article. Any earlier is little better than conjecture based on gossip and rumours. Hello - sorry I know nothing of it because you have me confused with someone. My editing on the Blackpool F.C. article are based only on disambs fixs:

I reverted this edit because it was a mess. Please use punctuation and standard English capitalisation. This edit was not up to the standard of an encyclopaedia. Thank you. Ground Zero | t 11:02, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why be in such a hurry to add "news" - wait until it's properly reported, preferably by the club itself or a reliable source, then edit the article with proper citations. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 21:33, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blackpool are welcome to him - you'll get half a dozen good games then he'll go off the boil. This is of course purely my POV. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 21:34, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AfD

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion (on the article Goop) but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider registering an account or asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you. GiantSnowman 14:52, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You missed out two steps - you didn't add the AfD to today's log, and neither did you notify the article creator. The former is vital; the latter a mere courtesy. I had done both on your behalf. Regards, GiantSnowman 15:07, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

With reference to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chohung Bank FC I have now re-written:

I also make reference in my comments to the status of the Korean National Football Championship, predecessor to the current FA Cup, with reference to the Korean Football Association website. It is a shame that this page which lists the National Football Championship winners and runners-up is not in English.

  • 조흥은행 = Chohung Bank FC
  • 제일모직 = Cheil Industries FC

You might want to a) revisit this AfD and b) lose the attitude. Regards, GiantSnowman 17:24, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As a film's notability is not at all dependent upon a film's stars having notability themselves, specially for a non-English pre-internet film French film, perhaps you might reconsider your comment at the AFD? Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 22:09, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Young Engineers AfD

[edit]

Hi there!

I have noticed you have recently deleted the Young Engineers created by one of my adoptees, who also requested it. I was wondering if there was any way I could get a copy for the person of checking for copyright violations. RexRowan told me on his website that the Young Engineers charity reported him to the police for copyright violation, as you can see at User talk:RexRowan. Thanks,  Adam Mugliston  Talk  17:24, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should request this of User:JamesBWatson, the administrator who actually did the deletion. LadyofShalott 17:35, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice it wasn't Seasider91 who closed the deletion. Sorry. It seems like RexRowan does not want resolving this anyway, per the strong reply on his talk page most recently.  Adam Mugliston  Talk  17:41, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To be perfectly clear. There is no tolerance for blatant vandalism to a BLP and especially from established users since they know better. You are not entitled to any warnings. I had the mouse on the block button, but decided to let you off with a warning...this time. Rettetast (talk) 15:04, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/puzzle pyramid, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Your article submission puzzle pyramid

[edit]

Hello Seasider91. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled puzzle pyramid.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/puzzle pyramid}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:14, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
